The band Morphine blazed like a comet across the global 1990's music scene with its innovative sound. Fronted by two-string bassist/vocalist Mark Sandman, the trio rose from Boston clubs to major label record deals, international touring, and wide critical acclaim until their untimely demise in 1999.
