Takato Matsuda loves to battle with Digimon cards, a fun game around his elementary school. One day, after creating his own Digimon, his wildest dreams come true when he received a Digivice and the Digimon he created appears!

Takato's Digimon, Guilmon, is child-like and inquisitive, heading to school to find Takato. When Guilmon causes enough trouble, another Tamer, Lee Jianliang, appears with his partner Digimon, Terriermon.

Ruki Makino, the Digimon Queen, is a talented player of the Digimon Card Game. Her Digimon Partner, Renamon, is an extremely capable Digimon who easily bests even evolved Digimon. But when Renamon tries to defeat Guilmon in battle, Terriermon...

When a wild Digimon appears in the city, Jian is shocked to see that it's Gorimon, a Digimon Terriermon once fought in a Digimon video game. Because of those events, Jian has tried to stop Terriermon from ever evolving again. How will they defeat Gorimon if Terriermon won't evolve?

Strange events have been happening around the elementary school. Takato and Guilmon go to investigate and find a Digimon named Culumon. Culumon doesn't seem to have a partner... would any of their friends or family be a good match?

Ruki and Renamon are always looking to battle, hoping to load enough Digimon data to finally evolve. Renamon meets a lone Digimon named Impmon, who goes on and on about not having a human master to deal with. When Ruki is caught in Dokugumon's trap, Renamon risks everything to save her.

A secretive agency. Hypnos, monitors everything on the Network, including the Digital World. When Guilmon suddenly disappears, the search leads them to discover Yuggoth, a program designed to consume data!

Someone is pulling pranks around the park at night. When Takato finds Guilmon hanging out at the park, he ends up yelling at his Digimon! But when the pranks are revealed to be Impmon's doing, Takato apologizes... just in time for a new evolution!

Guilmon finally evolved into Growlmon... but now can't de-evolve! When Growlmon wanders out of hiding, Takato and Jian work together to figure out a solution.

Someone's been following Ruki around all day. First it was Culumon, then it was no one at all. When Ruki berates Renamon for saying the two of them are "partners", she leaves, only for the icy hand of a Digimon to reach out towards her...

In the aftermath of Ruki leaving Kyubimon behind, the Tamers discuss what their partnerships are like. But in the heat of battle, will those partnerships be tested?

Ruki and Renamon have gone their separate ways, as they try to determine if they actually need each other. Jian tries to track down the mysterious man in black who warns them of the "dangerous game" they're playing. It's not all fun-and-games though when Renamon and Ruki meet during a dangerous battle!

"Wild Ones". Wild artificial intelligences that make their way to the Real World. They're known as Digimon, but Hypnos only sees them as packets of data running wild. The program known as Shaggai is created to lure in these Wild Ones... and destroy them!

Shaggai is activated and a path is now opened from the Digital World to the Real World. When an unknown Digimon appears and overpowers both Kyubimon and Galgomon, Takato and Growlmon unlock a new power!

Guilmon is finally revealed to Takato's classmates, while Ruki and Jian tend to other matters. But when a giant snake Digimon appears, it's Takato who's too distracted to go help his friends out!

Takato and Jian plan to bring their Digimon on their class trip and it's a good thing that they did. A Digimon appears and rapidly gains power as a prophecy is revealed... are more Digimon about to appear in the Real World?

Jian gains a rare card that quickly turns into a Blue Card. As the kids try to track down its owner, Jian's father Zhenyu ends up coming across Impmon and Terriermon. But the arrival of two new powerful Digimon ends up also revealing a connection that Jian's father has to the Digimon...

Renamon goes with Vajramon to find answers while Ruki is dragged along with her mother to a photo shoot. Vajramon tries to convince Renamon to abandon the humans and live with the other Digimon but the offer is refused. When Vajramon cannot understand why, the moonlight reveals...

Jian learns more about the enemy Digimon known as the Devas. But when Impmon tries to face the Deva known as Indaramon, the question remains, "Can you be strong if you can't evolve?"

Takato is given a Blue Card created by his friends as a gift while the group searches for the missing Impmon. Meanwhile, Yamaki brings Zhenyu to meet his old Digimon research team and help them to work together... to destroy the Digimon?!

Takato's friends all want to become Tamers and talk about what Digimon they'd like to become their partners. When Juri encounters a Deva, another Digimon appears and Juri's dead-set on making them her partner!

Ruki offers to teach Juri about the Digimon card game after Juri buys a bunch of cards. Jian figures out that the Devas are all based on the members of the zodiac. But when a giant new Deva appears, Yamaki activates Shaggai once more!

Shaggai begins to affect the children's Digimon before it's taken over by a strange force. But as the smoke begins to clear, new revelations are revealed and Culumon needs rescuing!

Culumon holds the secret to evolution and was taken to the Digital World. The night before leaving, the children spend the evening in different ways, preparing for the journey ahead.
