1941: In Chumphon Province, Thailand, Mok (Awat Ratanapintha and his ragtag unit of young soldiers are made to go against the Japanese forces. The invaders come with a biological weapon. Mek is Mok's older brother, an NCO serving close by. Mek forcefully joins the forces with the Japanese when they lose their weapon, but learns his mission could kill his brother.
