The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society volunteers head to Antarctica for their most intense anti-whaling campaign yet. As soon as their ship leaves port, its gyrocompass breaks, steering the crew into a massive storm.

A huge weather system moves in and the Sea Shepherd's ship is forced to take shelter behind a large iceberg. Since the ice is so thick, the ship can no longer move for fear of suffering damage.

The Sea Shepherd volunteers gather intel on the Japanese fleet's location and realize they are low on fuel. They come across the entire Japanese fleet searching for one of their crewmembers who has fallen overboard.

The Japanese fleet is searching for one of their crewmembers who fell overboard. Captain Watson orders his crew to stand down. They do so and head to port. There, a stranger hands the Captain a letter filled with white powder.

The ship Steve Irwin is quarantined and the crew anxiously waits to find out if they have been exposed to Anthrax. Later, a crew member quits the campaign.

Surrounded by the Japanese whaling fleet, the Sea Shepherds ready themselves for their biggest day of battle. Helicopter pilot Chris Aultman confirms the crew's fears: all of the whaling vessels are equipped with weapons.

Captain Watson is in pursuit of the Japanese factory vessel when all three Japanese harpoon ships suddenly appear from out of the fog. The Sea Shepherds are completely outnumbered.

As the Sea Shepherds prepare for their fourth straight day of engagement with the Japanese whaling fleet, they argue about the best strategy for attack.

As they continue to engage the Japanese fleet, the Sea Shepherds begin to question the effectiveness of their tactics.

The Sea Shepherds are shocked and furious when the Japanese fleet pulls a dead whale onto their ship. Captain Watson instructs the crew to prepare for battle.

The Sea Shepherds attempt to disrupt the whaling fleet's operations. When one of the ships tries to transfer a dead whale to the factory ship, Captain Watson maneuvers his ship to block it, resulting in a full-speed collision.
