While venturing in a snowy world, Toad is kidnapped by a near-sighted Birdo who is convinced that he is her missing baby.

While trying to rescue the Princess from an abandoned mine, the Mario brothers find themselves running from Sheriff Mouser and his minions who are after the large reward Koopa has promised for their capture.

Mario and Co arrive in Cramalot, only to be assualted by Beezos. They are saved by Mervin the magician, who tells them about how Koopa took over Cramalot.

Mario and Co are traveling through a desert, dying of thirst. Thanks to a booby-trap, they wind up in the palace of Sultan Pasbah, who tries to force Princess into his harem, while the guys are sent to the dungeon.

The Marios and Toad are trying to save Princess from Koopa's riverboat. When their plan goes horribly wrong, Toad gets caught and the Marios barely escape with their lives.

Mario and Co head to the Linguini Empire to attend a benefit spaghetti dinner. When they arrive, Princess and Toad are separated from the Marios and meet Koopa, who's taken over.

Desperate for cash, the Marios trade the royal cow for bean seeds. Princess scolds them, and accidentally sneezes, blowing the beans into the yard. Overnight, they grow into a beanstalk. The next morning, Mario and Co climb the beanstalk, which takes them to a gigantic castle in the sky, which is occupied by Koopa, who's now giant-sized.

Mario and Co arrive in Rotunda Land, which is ruled by the uptight Queen Rotunda. After being caught, Mario unintenionally gets Rotunda to drink a love potion, causing her to fall in love with him, much to his dismay.

To help Toad pay off his debt to Fry Guy, Mario and Luigi enter a bike race in hopes to collect the prize money. But what they don't know is that it's all a trap planned by Koopa.

The Princess falls into the Fountain of Youth, transforming her into a baby. Now, the Mario Bros. have to protect her while looking for a way to reverse it.

In the depths of space, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool are all aboard a yellow spaceship, which is currently traveling through a swarm of flaming meteors.

In Pirate Waters, located in Pirate World, Mario and Luigi are in the middle of peeling potatoes onboard a ship. As he peels potatoes, Mario remembers how he, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool came to be on this ship; while traveling to Princess Toadstool's Castle, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool were hired as the crew of the only ship willing to sail Pirate Waters.

Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad have ventured to Robo Land in pursuit of King Koopa, whom they had intended to stop.

In a dark forest, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool are running frantically through pouring rain, in a mysterious place called Turtlevania.

In the Amazon Jungle, Mario, using a plunger to swat his way through a variety of flora, leads Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool in their search for Dr. Sheldon, a mysterious witch doctor.

Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad have travelled to the underwater kingdom of Aqua Land in a submarine built from a bathtub in order to fight against Barra-Koopa.

In the ancient city of Mythis, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool are searching for a legendary hero named Hercufleas, who is an old friend of Toad's.

In the oriental city of Sayonara, Mario, Toad, Princess Toadstool and Luigi, who is pulling the cart Mario, Toad and Princess Toadstool are riding, are searching for a weapon that can help them defeat King Koopa, Super Sushi.

In the Land of Romance, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool, who had been called to the Land of Romance by a friend of Princess Toadstool, are currently trapped in a rapidly crumbling build by several Snifits, half of whom are wearing red, the others wearing blue, who are shooting explosive projectiles at each other.

In Lava Land, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool using a variety of floating rafts to reach an island named Waki-Waki in the middle of the ocean, where Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool are to meet a Fire God who has promised to use his power to free the Mushroom Kingdom from King Koopa.

In the Snow World, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool, exhausted and hungry, weakly venture forth through a snowy field, mentioning that the hoards of Koopa Khan are after them.

In Victoria, Mario and Luigi are riding atop a carriage being pulled by a horse traveling down a street in search of a great detective by the name of Herlock Solmes, with Toad and Princess Toadstool riding in the carriage.

While searching for a place known as Sharewood Village, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool find themselves lost in Sharewood Forest; as Mario, Luigi and Princess Toadstool stand nearby, Toad begins to glance at his map to Sharewood Village, and points to a path on it before pointing in the direction he believes will lead him, Mario, Luigi and Princess Toadstool to Sharewood Village.

In the badlands of Car Land, Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad are riding in a brown convertible car, planning on rendezvousing with several Mushroom rebels; it seems the evil King-of-the-Road Koopa had stolen all the spaghetti sauce in Car Land and the rebels Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool were planning on meeting had been making more of it.
