Gopher (Fred Grandy) finds a sizable amount of money and has a hilarious dream in which he becomes an admiral, giving orders to the other crew members; a famous country singer (Florence Henderson) meets an old love (James Noble,of ABC's "Benson'") who has political aspirations, plus a jealous girlfriend (Carol Lawrence).

In "New Beginnings," written by Len Janson, the captain's (Gavin MacLeod) dear friend (Miss Fontaine) brings joy to all around her except to the man she once loved, who has gone sour on life. She tries to revitalize his spirit while covering her own fear. Bernie Kopell, who stars as Doc, plays the role of a bumbling investigator who accompanies a beautiful client (Miss Noble).
