Little Women

The March sisters and their mother Marmee face a Christmas without presents or their father. The girls must learn to live simply and humbly, but are faced with a series of testing events.

Their father falls ill, and the March sisters must learn to cope on their own. Marmee returns when Beth becomes very sick. Meg and John Brooke grow closer. Jo’s literary prospects improve.

The March family grows, but Beth’s health causes worry. Amy goes on a tour of Europe, where she runs into Laurie. Jo flees to pursue her career in New York, but bad news forces her return.
