Bharat, a crime reporter with the newspaper 'Khabardar' is assigned a task by his boss Gauri to fetch news on an escaped prisoner, Anna. Maruti, a simple truck driver becomes a witness to a murder committed by Anna. But in an unexpected turn of events, Maruti is accused of the murder and makes a run for his life.
