The film tells the story of Maggie Fitzgerald, a waitress who wants to become a professional boxer. Every day, she trains at Frankie’s gym. Maggie knows what she wants and, above all, what she dreams of is to find someone who believes in her. Eventually, and convinced by Maggie’s determination, Frankie accepts to train her.
