Doug buys a motorcycle.

Carrie is feeling friendless, so when a young woman moves in down the street, Doug encourages Carrie to befriend her. But when Carrie starts spending all her time with her, Doug feels left out and envious.

In order to get out of going to the bank with Carrie, Doug angrily proclaims that he's very busy at work.

When Deacon and Kelly ask Carrie and Doug to be the godparents of their new baby, Doug is thrilled, Carrie is not.

Doug is horrified to wake up one morning to find that his beloved big screen television set is missing from the garage. The culprit? His tired, overworked wife, who accidentally left the garage door open.

When Arthur overhears Doug making disparaging remarks about him, Doug feels so guilty that he gives Arthur one of his prized Mets tickets -- a ticket that he won for being named IPS Driver of the Month.

Carrie and Doug take the weekend trip with Deacon and Kelly. When assigned adjoining rooms at the hotel, the Heffernans quickly learn that their best friends have a very active sex life.

Doug and Ray want to get together on a Saturday night to watch sports, but like all good husbands everywhere, they realize that that plan won't work with the wives.

When the hot, new waitress at the local hangout flirts with Doug, he is giddy with excitement. But, Carrie wonders what's up when Doug suddenly starts wearing cologne and nice pants.

Carrie's best friend has a very annoying husband and when Doug finds out that Carrie has invited the couple to spend the long Thanksgiving weekend with them, he must stop her.

When Doug's bowling team sponsor, Bruce Degner, demands winning results, Doug must decide between loyalty to the game and loyalty to his wife. Since Carrie is the weak link on the team, Doug has to kick her off in order to win the next game.

Doug and Carrie rejoice about the glories of the holiday season when Doug gets a bonus from work. Carrie suggests investing the money in an Internet stock while Doug would just rather play it safe by putting it in the bank.

Among the many responsibilities that go along with being best man is throwing a bachelor party. With Carrie's assistance, Doug puts together a well intended party for Danny complete with a stripper.

Doug hosts the reunion for his high school football buddies with the hope of reliving the old days, especially his big block in the championship game. Unfortunately, time has faded his teammates' memories and nobody recalls his "big block".

When a cold snap hits Queens, Arthur moves from the cold basement to the second-floor bedroom right next to Carrie and Doug.

After witnessing Carrie cheating, Doug becomes distraught when she doesn't immediately fess up to her crime. Then, when she finally does come clean and asks forgiveness from Doug and the other player, she proceeds to cheat again.

It's Valentine's Day as Carrie and Doug flash back to their far from classic boy meets girl introduction.

Tired of Deacon and Kelly because they have to find a babysitter whenever they make plans, Doug and Carrie embark on a campaign to find new friends without kids.

Carrie asks Doug to distract her father, Arthur, while she decorates the house for the surprise birthday party.

When Deacon talks Doug into the play day in Atlantic City, Doug lies to Carrie about where he is really going so he can avoid her protestations. Once the two get there, Doug loses all his money and figures it's bad karma because he lied.

Doug volunteers as a Big Brother and tries everything to impress his new little brother. Meanwhile, Carrie tells another man that she loves him.

Doug makes every effort to sell the water filters, but when he convinces Arthur to join him, Carrie demands that Doug get his money back.

As a sign of their commitment to each other, Carrie demands that Doug never eat at his favorite Italian restaurant again because Carrie thinks that the wait staff is rude and uncooperative.

When the situation is brought to Doug's attention, he attempts to prove to Carrie that he is still a true romantic by purchasing an unusual number of flowers and chocolates.

While Carrie dreams of spending the vacation in the Loire Valley, Doug has his mind set on driving an R.V. wherever the road takes them.
