After an ancient Buddha statue is unearthed, weird things happen at Jin-yang. An archaeologist Ki-hoon finds out that the statue is possessed by an evil spirit. And his wife Soo-jin witnesses the statue.

The governor and villagers discuss the black rain at the county office. Yong-ju was there to bother Do-kyeong. People who have seen the eyes of the statue go mad and turn the county office to hell.

The survivors set barricades at the county office. Yong-ju asserts that the madness is caused by the virus-infected black rain thus Su-jin and other infectees should be killed. At the same time, Ki-hoon and Seok-hee try to get into the town.

Ki-hoon and Seok-hee get to know that the survivors are at the county office. But, the evil energy overwhelms them as if hindering their entrance to the town. So, Ki-hoon makes an amulet.

Su-jin is captivated by the memory of her daughter's death. The office is on fire, so the governor and Yong-ju seek to escape. Meanwhile, Ki-hoon and Seok-hee rush into the office to stop the evil spirit from spreading.

While Ki-hoon tries to seal the curse from the statue, Seok-hee tries to save her son. However, even Ki-hoon is enthralled by the evil spirit. Will they be able to save people from this catastrophe?
