A mysterious murder takes place at one of Korea's top 0.1% elite high schools when a male student stabs a female student to death. Gi Mu-hyeok, a successful but materialistic lawyer, takes on the case at the request of his law firm's CEO. The defendant claims he was the victim's boyfriend, but his classmates give conflicting testimonies.

To uncover the truth behind the school murder case, Gi Mu-hyeok goes undercover as a temporary teacher at Cheonmyung High School under the alias Gi Gang-je. There, he meets passionate teacher Ha So-hyeon and the school's unsettling elite students: Beom-jin, Gi-hoon, Tae-ra, and Ye-ri. Beneath their polished appearances lies something far more sinister.

Late at night, Gang-je has an unsettling first encounter with Beom-jin. As he digs deeper into the suspicious school, So-hyeon tries to help Byeong-ho, who is being bullied by classmates.
