Ross Kemp: Shipwreck Treasure Hunter

Inspired by a family story, Ross travels to Scapa Flow in the Orkney Islands to explore the F2, a captured German scout warship whose contents might provide a link to his relatives. Ross also dives the SS Tabarka, a Royal Navy freighter.

Continuing his adventure in Scapa Flow, Ross plunges down to the German Warship SMS Karlsruhe where he discovers the cause of its demise. The answer leads him 600 miles away to the wreck of an experimental 1920s submarine aircraft carrier.

On its maiden voyage to America in 1864, the steamship Iona II sank with mysterious cargo aboard. Grappling with intense low visibility conditions, Ross's team uncovers a story surrounding the ship that sheds new light on British history.

A story about his great grandfather inspires Ross to dive the James Eagan Layne with the goal of recovering its military supplies. Ross then explores the legendary HMS Amethyst where he and his team discover a remarkable artifact.
