The Lutetia Hotel was built in 1910, survived the two wars and welcomed many respected artists. Throughout the history, it was repurposed couple of times. During the World War II, the German army made it its counter-intelligence headquarters. After the Liberation it became the reception center for deportees returning from the concentration camps.
