The Mind of a Murderer

A student is found dead in his apartment, naked and covered with a sheet. When Chief Insp. Peter Faber is assigned to the case, he is determined to re-enact the events which could have led to the murder. Faber orders Insp. Daniel Kosslik to go undercover downtown, but when another body shows up in similar circumstances, the team must pick up the pace in their hunt for a dangerous serial killer.

Faber's team look into the death of a pimp and dealer among the immigrant scene in Insp. Nora’s neighborhood. During their investigation, they run into her former beat partner Sonja, who used to be a prostitute, and still knows the scene.

The body of a teenage girl is recovered from a lake. The victim’s best friend reveals that the two girls had attended birthday celebrations at an upmarket club on the night of the crime. But when the autopsy shows that the victim had been assaulted a while before her death, the team question if they need to track down two assailants.

When the body of a young girl is found in the woods, her stepfather soon becomes the focus of the team’s investigation. But then thirteen-year-old Lisa goes missing, and when the team follow the trail of her father too, it seems they might be close to uncovering something much darker.

The Dortmund detectives are investigating the murder of a prominent neo-Nazi. This case hits close to home when Inspector Daniel discovers that his brother Tobias also belongs to the radical group of right-wing extremists, and Inspector Nora puts herself in danger when she speaks her mind with the victim’s supporters.

A failed parachute deployment leaves a young skydiver fighting for his life in intensive care. The team go undercover at the skydiving club, and find out just how much his love for the skies interfered in his home and work life. Could this be what lead to the tragedy?

The team are called to investigate a tragedy, when a young girl dies after eating some ‘sweets’ she found in the playground. The team are on the trail of two Senegalese drug dealers, but Peter suspects someone much closer to home. Meanwhile, Martina faces a struggle at home and Daniel is on a collision course.
