Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin

Ira Takuto wakes up in the forest of a fantasy world. Before him is Sludge Atou, the Hero Unit of the game he played the most. “—Let's build our civilization. A kingdom just for me and you!” Takuto begins by holing up and secretly gathering information. However, he quickly encounters a group of dark elves native to this new world.

Takuto uses the Refugee system to welcome the dark elves into his nation, and learns of 2 Good nations nearby.

After sensing omens of an apocalypse coming from the Accursed Lands, Saint Soalina of Blooming Burials commands her Paladins to go to the Accursed Lands where Takuto resides. Meanwhile, Takuto and the others hold a council meeting to make Mynoghra a more powerful empire. To resolve their food shortage, Atou prepares the outlandish Flesh Tree?!

Mynoghra was steadily building up its national power, and preparations to summon their new Hero unit—Isla, Queen of Bugs—were well underway. Meanwhile, Paladin Verdel and Paladin Lonius headed toward the Dark Continent with mercenaries in tow to investigate the Accursed Lands. “So this is the Accursed Lands, the Cursed Sea of Trees…” The Paladins and Mynoghra finally encounter each other—

Despite Mynoghra’s wish to avoid conflict, they engage the Paladins in combat. Paladin Verdel determines Atou is akin to a Witch, and grows more cautious. Verdel and Lonius’ Holy Sword Arts cut down Atou’s tentacles one after another. “Just two more. Cut off two more, and we win.” The battle intensifies and Atou is slowly becoming overwhelmed, but…

One day Atou realizes their king, Takuto, lacks someone assigned to care for his needs. Takuto requests “someone who’s easy to talk to,” and many young girls are assembled as candidates to be his attendants. The last two candidates to remain were the twins, Maria and Caria. “They certainly are sensible, but there’s a slight issue…” What Moltar fears lies connected to the twins’ horrifying past…

Atou and the others are faced with a delegation from Phon’kaven. The one who defuses the tense situation is a young boy carrying a staff, Pepe. Afterwards, Pepe continues to act with freedom and abandon, even during the meeting with Takuto. “Nice to meet you! Please be my friend!” Will Takuto, the friendless, poor communicator, finally make a friend?!

Maria and Caria go out to inspect Dragontan. Caria is anxious about the unusual attitude of the medics introduced as their guards— “Welcome to Dragontan.” With Mayor Antelise as their guide, the twins have a look around Dragontan. Though Maria senses fear and anxiety from the townsfolk.

Dragontan is under attack from Barbarians, and it's only a matter of time before it falls. Takuto dispatches Atou to Dragontan. To make up for her absence, he decides to summon their new Hero unit-Isla, Queen of Bugs. "Our new Hero will finally be born!" Though what kind of creature is the Hero, Isla?!

Atou and Moltar engage the Barbarians attacking Dragontan. Atou is steadily defeating the enemies, but the defeated Barbarians suddenly disappear, leaving gold coins in their place. Moltar had never seen or heard of corpses vanishing upon defeat to be replaced by unknown gold coins. Takuto, however, recognizes the crest on the coins. “Our enemy is an RPG…!”

The monsters of the Demon Lord’s army go after Mynoghra! Takuto pours his Mana into Isla, enhancing her power to its limit. “Now use this power to overrun all our enemies.” With those orders from Takuto, Isla proceeds to defeat the Barbarians and the monsters of the Demon Lord’s Army one after another. Inexplicable events occur one after another. Maria and Caria are teleported to the forest near Isla, and they’re forced back there when they try to leave. Worse, Flamin reappears before Isla when he should be dead. “You thought you won, didn’t you? Haha… Fool.” Flamin gives them a sinister smile. Then RPG mechanics bare their fangs against Isla and the twins!

The Elfuur sisters awaken as the Witches of Regret. Using their terrifying power, they face down the Demon Lord in his true form. “We should never have held hope.” “We lost everything because we dared to hope.” Maria and Caria run rampant with deep despair and regret in their hearts. What fate awaits those two? And what future will Takuto, Atou, and Mynoghra choose to pursue?!
