Heels in the Hay

Upon arrival, things kick off right away. Dairy farmer Pier Jan puts the influencers straight to work shoveling manure, and if that wasn't bad enough, they'll also have to sleep in a hay barn for the next few days. In the countryside, you eat what's on the table. But while cooking with the locals, tensions within the group flare up almost immediately. And that leads to a fiery first elimination.

After the first influencer has been sent home, it's straight back to hard work on the dairy farm. And that hard work isn't for everyone, especially when you have to get up at six in the morning. Luckily, there's also room for some countryside fun. The influencers dive into an ancient Frisian tradition: fierljeppen, with hilarious results.

The group is thinning out and the tension is palpable. They can leave the smell of manure behind and go to Urk, with a layover in Harlingen. It's not just the smell of fish they find unpleasant - the atmosphere also hits an all-time low, with one even threatening to quit the game. Will Sunday bring some peace? And will Urk's deeply religious community approve of the influencers' fashion choices?

Sunday has left the influencers overwhelmed. What will the new week in Urk bring them, besides an abundance of fish? The 'fish-fluencers' are hit with a big surprise, which some handle better than others. Alongside the heavy and often dirty work, there's another countryside tradition with a special prize up for grabs. This coveted reward will raise the stakes for the next elimination...

From fish to pigs, and that takes some getting used to. Because which smell is worse for city influencers? After sleeping on a ship, they're back to sleeping in a barn. Farmer Erik's assignments prove to be challenging and one participant struggles with the pigs for personal reasons. Will Farmer Erik show understanding, or will the rest of the group dig in their heels?

Our influencers are past the halfway point of their countryside journey and the game is getting more cutthroat. Who can you still trust? Amid all the complaining and scheming, there's a moment of fun as the participants take on traditional dancing. Can they give the old-fashioned clog dancing a modern twist? And will the seasoned farmer dancers appreciate their contemporary take on tradition...?

After the chaos at the pig farm and the nerve-wracking elimination, our influencers head to the final location: a chicken farm. Here, they settle into a unique sleeping space, among 37,000 chickens! Who will rise to the challenge, and who's bound to ruffle some feathers? One contestant's attempt to take control creates a dark cloud over the group, setting the stage for an explosive atmosphere.

The once-large group of influencers has been winnowed down to the final few. They've endured blood, sweat, and tears - and now they face the ultimate test. Who has the knowledge, the skills, and the perseverance to claim victory and emerge as the champion of the countryside?

All the influencers reunite with Robbert, under the watchful eyes of the local community that shaped their journey. For some, it's a heartwarming reunion, while others bring unresolved tensions to the surface...
