An elderly countess lives in a mansion located on her property, "The Bay." An architect would like to take over the entire area and turn it into a village. His greatest enemy is entomologist Paolo Fossati. But the countess is killed and her murderer is also killed in turn. Four carefree boys accidentally discover the murderer's body: they are slaughtered. Other crimes are committed.
