Out of the Blue

The CID officers from Brazen Gate police station investigate the murder of a terminally ill man at a special care unit in a hospital and the case of a rape victim unwilling to describe her attacker. Meanwhile, Franky is in denial about his own health.

The team try to capture a persistent offender making bogus house calls, Franky gets a tip-off about a planned armed raid, and when a man is found dead at home, it seems that someone has been opening his mail.

A case of computer pornography being sold for a tidy profit by one of the local school kids leads the team to a body. Meanwhile, Franky has been signed off by the Chief Medical Officer, and is struggling to deal with the effects of his illness on his career.

A woman is found dead at a bus stop just yards away from her own home but the neighbors are strangely unhelpful, and Frankie goes missing. Rebecca and Warren try to find him when they discover he was working a case when he disappeared.

Bruce finds himself at the heart of a potentially explosive investigation when a lawyer is shot, dividing an already troubled community. Deskbound and excluded from the case, Franky decides to take matters into his own hands but he pushes things too far and there are tragic consequences.

Driven by rage and anguish at the murder of one of their colleagues, the team try to track down the killer. As Rebecca and Marty investigate, Bruce and Eric learn the terrible truth behind the murder.
