Margarita Nazarova - Queen of the Tigers

A war rages on between Russia and Germany, where many citizens are displaced. Among them is Margarita Nazarova. She is taken to Berlin and traded among slave owners. Luckily, a man named Otto saves her from abuse and takes her in. The war finally comes to an end and Margarita travels home to Riga, where a circus is about to begin.

Margarita begins working in a kitchen at the circus venue. After secretly practicing her motorcycle skills in the ring, the regular rider goes down and she finally gets her shot. Kostya and Boris put on a spectacle with their tigers. Margarita persuades Boris to join their act, but awaits Kostya's approval.

Margarita leaves her home and job, chasing after her dreams of becoming a circus tamer. Boris accepts her, while Kostya has mixed feelings. A new film starring the tamers begins to go into motion and there may just be a part for the budding star, Margarita.

Margarita lands her first role as a stunt double. Kostya and Boris begin to train her in the ring. Liza finds her long lost husband, Misha. Romance begins to bloom between Margarita and Kostya.

Margarita attempts to run away, but Kostya follows behind. An accident occurs and Kostya is left without his memory; only his passion can bring it back. Kostya and Margarita tie the knot, shortly after putting on a stunning performance for a foreign leader.

Margarita finds out that she's pregnant. Due to complications with the birth, the baby does not survive. Kostya goes into a funk. Hope is rejuvenated when the couple land roles in what might be the biggest film in their career. Dmirty, a famous actor, sets his eyes on Margarita.

Dmitry pursues Margarita's love, but will not last long. After some time, Margarita and Kostya have their first child, Leshka. Returning home after the film, Margarita must make a life choice: to chase her acting career or return to the circus.

Margarita's mother and sister arrive to help with Leshka. Misha's business is in jeopardy after some shady deals, taking a turn that may be his end. Kostya and Margarita find their passion for each other once again. Boris becomes friendly with Margarita's sister, Vera.

New faces arrive in the circus, but one in particular is deceitful. Liza tries to cope after losing Misha. Kostya finds out he has a severe brain tumor, but hides it from his loved ones. Liza finds comfort with Boris.

Pursh escapes from his cage, causing havoc among the circus. Vitaly's scheme is found out by Kostya and Mishka. Boris and his ex-wife reunite after she is released from prison, but Liza is heartbroken. Kostya and Margarita prepare a show the world has never seen before. A new circus director comes to town, persuading the couple to represent Russia in Europe.

Boris leaves town for another circus. Kostya and Margarita set out on their European tour, but trouble follows them. Vitaly reemerges, letting the tigers out of their cages. Despite his efforts, the couple continues on with their showcase.

Kostya's conditions worsens on the road, but he presses on. Otto recognized Margarita in the newspaper and flies out to Italy to see her perform. Margarita and Kostya slip away to spend time with Otto in his mansion.

Despite Otto's efforts, no doctors can treat Kostya in his condition. The couple returns home to an unexpected gift. Vitaly attempts to interrogate Margarita, but an old friend steps in to save her. Boris returns for a visit. Liza takes a holiday, but doesn't plan on coming back.

A doctor tells Kostya that he has six months left to live. Rumors spread about Margarita overshadowing Kostya, kicking him out of the spotlight. While these rumors are never proven to be true, Kostya fills with rage and leaves.

As Kostya prepares his solo act, Margarita's show in Moscow ends in flames. After the incident, the couple realize their love for each other and reunite for Kostya's last days. They take a trip to Riga, reminiscing on happier times.

Kostya's condition ends in tragedy. Margarita goes mad, but Boris sticks around to help out. Although time passes, the scar of Kostya's death remains in Margarita's heart until her last days.
