Urmel

While Tiddleypom is teaching Pip, Shoehorn and Wawa some tongue twisters in the Animals' Academy, Toots becomes a victim of another of the Professor's experiments: she slips on the Super Duper glue.

Toots who has a talent of drawing is doing a painting of Urmel in Wawa's shell when Shoehorn arrives with the message that the Winkelberg Art Gallery is organising a competition for budding artists.

After a class where the Animals learned about Australia, Urmel plans to go Down Under by digging a hole there from Happening through the earth.

A little cactus inspires Urmel to teach this plant to talk with the help of the Professor's speech-drops. First he is laughed at by the Animals, only the Professor takes his idea more seriously.

To prove the law of gravity (they've just learned about that in school), Pip and urmel start a scientific experiment. They climb the roof of the Professor's house and drop a coconut.

The Professor is sitting in her study gluing photographs in an album. When Urmel notices this he is so fascinated by the idea of taking pictures that he borrows the Professor's camera and takes photos of everybody.

While the Animals are planning a concert with Sealyphant, Shoehorn has to lie in the Professor's bed as he has caught a cold. When Urmel realises how Shoehorn is spoilt by Toots he also pretends to be ill.

On her birthday Toots gets a robot made by the Professor out of an old vacuum-cleaner and a toaster. It looks very similar to Toots and should help her with her house work.

A big typhoon headed for Happening forces the Animals and the Professor to take shelter in a cave where they suddenly see a mysterious, flickering light and hear a strange, melodious sound. Meanwhile Urmel has got lost.

As the Professor is away for a week, Swindleman and Slimeyer go to Happening, steal the bottle with the speech drops from the Prof's lab and make use of the confusion to capture Urmel.

Frustrated because he is ignored by everybody the little penguin decides to become famous by climbing the north face of Mount Tafelberg. He has to take Urmel with him who got to know Pip's plan.

While the Animals are on the island to set a play into scene and rehearsing to prepare the anniversary of the discovery of happening, the Professor went to Winkelberg to find some presents for the Animals.

One night a crater hawk lays its egg in the volcano crater on Happening. After the little bird is hatched out, everybody in interested only in it. Urmel who has to look after it is ignored completely.

While Urmel and the other Animals are dreaming about flying to the sun to save it, the Professor is working on a solar flying machine made out of Toot's kitchen things.

Suddenly several things disappear on Happening. Inspired by the reading of Sherlock Holmes and in fact that he is blamed to have taken the things, Urmel tries to find out who's the thief.

While Urmel plays football with Wawa and Pip he suddenly changes into a ghost by falling into a big white shirt toots has hung up on the clothes line and running around this way.

Happening is struck by a several earthquakes which become stronger and stronger and endanger the whole island and its existence. They are caused by the sneezes of a giant squid which lives under the sea.

Because of the strong wind and rain on Happening Urmel gets the idea of looking for an ark to rescue the other Animals and the Professor. Together with Pip and Wawa he really finds one Pirate's galleon.

Helga, the Professor's niece is arriving on the island. She is really beautiful and nearly everybody of the Animals except Urmel and Toots fall in love with her. Later we find out that she is specially sent.

Toots is doing a French chef's correspondence course and preparing a test. Unfortunately her master piece, the Truffle Puffle, deflates every time it is served. But everybody else is suffering from hunger.

While the Animals prepare for the gardening show where the biggest and nicest plant will win a prize, the Professor is working in her lab on a potion which can make everything bigger. Of course, Urmel finds out about that.

By chance Urmel finds a gold ducat with an imprint of a one-eyed pirate on it. When the Professor tells that according to legend, this pirate buried treasure on Happening, the treasure fever breaks out.

Swindleman and Slimeyer who have hidden on Happening already for 3 weeks kidnap Toots and bring her to the Winkelberg. Though the Professor insists on going to Winkelberg also Urmel and the other Animals follow her.

Inspired by an old Jolly Roger the flag of the Blue Pirate whose dilapidated wreck is on the other side of the Island, Urmel, Shoehorn, Wawa and Pip plan a pirate adventure as well: they build a raft and sail away.
