The airship house

The hangar for airships of Augusta is a unique monument of industrial archeology in the international architectural scene. Among the first buildings in Italy made entirely of reinforced concrete, its construction began for military needs in 1917 and ended in 1920, when the First World War was now over and the use of airships for military purposes had been replaced by seaplane.
