Theo is on a quest. Among his late mother's belongings he finds a Super-8 film, in which his deceased father looks happy, and a little in love. But not with Theo's mother. Theo sets out to learn more about his father, which leads him to a remote Alpine valley. There he finds George. As the two men meet and get increasingly close to one another, slowly both their lives start to make sense at last.
