Gil finds Flint's most prized possession: Einstein's moustache. When he starts wearing it, Shelbourne takes him for a fellow principal, and they bond. Meanwhile, Flint does everything he can to get his moustache back.

When Flint's inventing makes the power bill skyrocket, Tim takes the Lockwood house off the grid. While Tim teaches Sam how to live without electricity, Flint desperately tries to come up with a power source of his own.

Flint helps Brent with his science project, inadvertently inventing a cool new element in the process - for which Brent takes all the credit. When the new element proves popular with the townspeople, Flint does whatever he can to reclaim the credit.

Sam receives a pet penguin from her Pet of the Month Club, unaware of Swallow Falls' long and terrible history with the aquatic bird. Thanks to one of Flint's inventions, the penguin problem quickly spirals out of control.

Mayor Shelbourne suffers a crisis of leadership when Flint beats his high score on the arcade's most difficult game, Dance Fish Move Dance. To make things right, Flint tries to help Shelbourne learn how to succeed at the game.

When Flint totals Tim's boat, he uses a ray to make his dad forget about the crash - and ends up erasing all of Tim's memories of Flint as his son. Flint tries to restore Tim's memories, but ends up transferring them to the other dads in town.

Flint invents a machine to bring Sam's imaginary friend, Patootie, into the real world, but Patootie's possessiveness is more than Flint can handle. Sam, meanwhile, is oblivious to the friction between her two best friends.

Flint realizes that all of the world's great inventors have large hands, so he invents a way to supersize his own mitts. However, the glory of his new hands soon goes to his head.

During Swallow Falls' annual Brent Hog Day festivities, Sam sets out to reveal that the beloved celebration is a scam. When the town turns against her, Sam tries to make things right by teaching a reluctant Brent how to predict the weather for real.

When Flint creates an invention to make Earl believe his son, Cal, can talk, Earl goes overboard showing off his genius baby. Flint feels guilty, but can't help continuing to fake answers every time Earl asks his son a question.

When Mayor Shelbourne incorrectly believes Flint's invention has made him invisible, he lives out his dream and goes on a tear through the town. Gil, wanting his father to be happy, pays off the townspeople to pretend the mayor is actually invisible

Desperate to make science interesting to his peers, Flint creates the superhero alter ego "Major Science." When Mayor Shelbourne gets wind of the popular new superhero, he devises a way to oppose him.

While trying out an invention to help his dad learn to swim, Flint accidentally turns Tim into a fish. However, Tim enjoys being a fish so much he’s reluctant to become human again.

When Shelbourne confiscates Flint’s beloved new invention, Sam organizes a heist to get it back. Together with other students and teachers at school, they plot to break in to Shelbourne’s office.

When Flint’s new invention gives Gil some much-needed confidence, the mayor demands a moxy-boost of his own. The two devolve into a moxy-off, with Flint and his invention caught in the middle.

Sam tries to help a new student settle into Swallow Falls, only to discover the townspeople are much nicer to the new girl than they ever were to her. Flint tries to help Sam with her newfound insecurity, but he can't help liking the new girl, too.

When Sam decides she wants a cool nickname, she and Flint struggle to jump through the hoops required to earn it. They must appeal to the Giver of Nicknames to get their new names, but Sam's not happy with the one she's given.

Brent offers to rid Flint's lab of a squirrel infestation, but his "help" only makes the problem worse when he invites all his buddies into the lab, distracting Flint even more.

A horror movie comes to town, and after watching it Brent is suddenly terrified of sardines. Flint and Sam enter Brent's dreams to determine the source of Brent's newfound fear.

Swallow Falls comes under fire from the talk show host Jimmy Knight, who makes fun of the town's inadequacies. Tired of being the butt of the world's jokes, Swallow Falls comes together to try to show how great their island really is.
