René Lévesque

When Levesque learns that Producers at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation are going to go on strike to push for unionization, he finds his career in the middle of a political maelstrom that he soon becomes a central participant in.

As a newly elected Minister, Levesque immediately goes to work against corruption, but towards efforts to nationalize electricity, facing strong headwinds in the process. He also learns nothing is more unpredictable than friendship.

Levesque begins to increasingly find himself at odds with Lesage, and by the Liberal Convention of 1967, Levesque is forced to make a momentous decision that will determine his future path, including the people willing to stand by him.
