Barbapapa

Barbalib is very proud of her new money box. She shows it to everybody. But how sorry she is when her money box vanishes without trace. Barbabravo again plays the role of detective, this time assisted by Barbazoo. Barbabright and Barbabeau, who keep buying icecreams are very much suspected.

Barbapapa goes along to watch a bull fight. But that is so cruel what they do to the poor bull. Wait though! And Barbapapa, thanks to a couple of barbatricks, raises the whole arena on stilts to great distress of the ridiculous bull fighters and to the grat joy of the cheering public.

Barbapapa is on holiday is Mexico. He has taken Cindy and Francois with him. Everywhere he goes people recognize him and he is received in state. During a sight-seeing tour of the country a little mexican boy acting as a guide, tells him of the sad legend about Aztec prince and princess. They also visit the famous Aztec pyramids. Barbapapa takes action in rescuing a group of Mexican farmers.

The whole Barbapapa family find themselves in the far north of Canada. Everybody is enjoying the snow-coverd landscape and the children are having a marvelous time on the ice. That is until Barbalib discovers a wounded rabbit and a cruel trap which is used to catch this lovely animal. Two scoundrel poachers attempt to make a big score but Barbapapa's don't take it lying down!

The baby continues to cry. He is hungry. Everybody is immediately busy making a delicious porridge for the baby. But first, the milk fresh from the cow, has to be boiled to kill all germs. Fruit from the garden is also good for the baby. There is no end. They invent all kinds of barbatricks in order to make the food ready for the baby. The Barbapapa's always have a solution.

The whole Barbapapa family go to the circus with their friends, but, how is it possible? The big top is empty, nobody. No problem.

Barbazoo is the vet from the large zoo. Together with his sister, nurse Barbalala, he does his work capable.

The postman has greatest difficulty in telling all nine houses, belonging to the Barbapapa's apart. But what do you expect if you're short-sighted? But the Barbapapa's again find a solution, and the posting of letters becomes a pleasure and quite a treat for the eyes of postman Pig.

Alice becomes one year old and the whole Barbapapa family arranges a pleasant party. The Barbapapa children play trampoline on Barbapapa's trampoline-stomach, Barbamama bakes cakes and the children help, now and again helping themselves to the mixture, but in the end a big cakeis placed on the table and they celebrate Alice's birthday.

With the help of a big magic book, Barbabright - who else - and Barbazoo conjure up big strange beasts from different magic parties. But, oh dear, they are so horribly big that the two brothers don't know how to get away fast enough. Butit appears these monsters are very loving and terribly unhappy because nobody will play with them.

Claudine has broken her leg, and to distract her, the Barbapapas turn into musical instruments.

In a most charming village, the Barbapapa's are enjoying the rest that reigns there. But then suddenly they are turned away because everywhere is to built-up. And if the only sport left over as the children's playground is also to be built-up, then this is going too far for Barbapapa's and thanks to comic Barbatricks and to the great joy of children, the dumbfounded workmen are chased away.

When all those beautiful toys in the toy shops are too expensive for the Barbapapa family and their friends Francois and Cindy they quickly decide to make their own toy factory. The Barbapapa's change themselves into powerful machines that via an ingenious chain system, an enormous quantity of beautitul toys are fabricated, to the great joy of all the children.

The Barbapapa's fridge is robbed empty. Detective Barbabravo, assisted by Barbabright, shall at sometime catch the thief. But despite all ingenious traps, the hungry thief still knows how to empty the fridge every evening. How is that possible? But when it becomes clear that Barbabravo is never hungry at the table and above all clear to see that he is a sleepwalker, tcha...!

Barbabright is more than fed up with the washing up. That is why he invents a robot wash and cleaning machine, which, fed up by a computer, does eveything it is told. Barbabright enjoys doing nothing while the robot makes everything clean. But when the computer runs away with itself, the robot wants to clean Barbabright as well and a crazy chase takes place until the computer is completely mad.

Barbapapa detects a group of safari hunters with wicked plans, just before their departure to Africa. Sneakily following, he goes with the trophy winning hunters. Under leadership of a burly safari guide/hunter, who it seems is a braggard, the company set off for the hunt. It is threatening to become a dreadful slaughter. It's gone too far for Barbapapa.

Barbapapa lodges with a penguin somewhere in the Pole. The arrival of wicked whale hunters disturbs the peace. Barbapapa dreams up some more grandiose Barbatricks, saves the whale and scres the gasping hunters. He had warned them hadn't he?

Barbabravo and Barbazoo want to play a trick on the other Barbapapa's. But together, they decide to play camouflage hide and seek. Now, if you are a Barbapapa and you can take all shapes and forms, then hide and sike becomes difficult, but lots of fun!

The Barbapapa's are travelling in Western USA. They have company from two congenial cowboys who are frightened to death by a few hungry wolves but Barbabeau knows, with tact, how to get near and after giving the famished animals a titbit everything is allright again. When they go for a drink in a real saloon, a true cowboy duel arises.

Barbalib and Barbabright bake a delicious pie. Everybody is looking forward to the banquet when suddenly : gone pie. No problem. Detective Barbabravo assisted by Barbazoo, shall trace the culprit. All the blame is directed at the completely innocent Barbabeau. Barbalib finds, however, the real culprits, the dog and a crow. Barbalib is also cut out for the profession of detective!

Barbabright's chicken has vanished without trace and all the little eggs are broken. Barbabravo will yet again solve it, together with Barbazoo. Everybody is suspected, especialy a totally innocent fox, who has has chicken feathers struck to his fur. But these originate from a torn blanket. Who has done it then? Unbelievable, the frogs. Barbabravo is again loss.

Barbabravo has made a splendid car. En route he picks up a group of jolly hitch-hikers. Who are on their way to a picnic. As it all goes too fast, they prefer to get out and walk the rest of the way. Barbabravo will now like to see who gets to the top of the mountain first, the hitch-hikers or himself. Now, with such a car, let's guess.

The famous Professor Panda gives a lecture about the animals who cheated by destruction. During this lecture, alarming news comes in, that there is a terrible forest fire raging in Africa. Together, with Professor Panda, the Barbapapa's rapidly help the needy animals. Just in the nick of time, the fire is put out, thanks to a spectacular barbatrick.

Barbabright claims to have seen a dinosaur. Of course nobody is taken in by this tale until, during an investigation, Barbalib falls down hole. Barbabright and Barbabeau go after her and they discover a prehistoric cave with beautiful wall paintings and... also the dinosaur, wich is jammed between two heavy stones. With all the energy possible, the dinosaur is freed.
