Game of Homes

As the competitors enter the Game of Homes arena for the first time, they must compete to determine which house they will be renovating for the next 8 weeks. But as they begin to make plans and settle in, the competitors are hit with a massive surprise by host Dave Salmoni.

Exhausted from the previous week's Living Room challenge, all the teams begin week two in a fiery mood.

The teams are given just 24 hours to re-purpose the smallest room in the house into anything but a bedroom. Teams head to downtown Toronto to gain inspiration from different neighbourhoods.

Teams tackle their master bedrooms and have only 24 hours to do it. Courtney and Tyler, the only team without a win, decide to take bold risks to impress the judges, while front-runners Shelley and Alex hope to continue their winning ways.

Going into the second half of the competition, teams are given 72 hours to renovate their bathrooms. Mistakes in managing both materials and time cause stress levels to hit an all-time high, resulting in a health crisis for one team and a relationship breakdown for another.

Six weeks into the competition and the teams have reached their breaking point. Courtney and Tyler, the one team without a win, question if they should head home, leaving their house incomplete.

With four days to transform their curb presence from appalling to appealing, the contestants tackle their final and most gruelling reno - the house exteriors.

Teams have 48 hours to correct their mistakes and get the houses ready for the public vote. Dave welcomes the public to view the finished houses and their vote, combined with the judges, is used to tabulate the winner.
