The Land Of Women is a historical drama inspired by the traditional Sardinian figure of the Coga, the village witch. Fear and superstition dominate the life of Fidela, a little girl born seventh after six other girls, raised as a witch at the hands of her cruel mother. After reaching adulthood, she is suddenly forced to become the guardian of another 7th girl, whom she sees as her protégé.
