Malotru is held hostage by ISIS. The DGSE tries to get him out of this hell, with the help of Nadia. Marina, traumatized by her detention in Iran, is consumed with paranoia.

As negotiations begin between the DGSE and ISIS, through Nadia, Malotru sees a glimpse of hope: one of his jailers is a mole of the Russian secret service and can help him. Duflot tries to help Marina overcome her trauma.

"Malotru's latest hopes are dashed when the FSB mole - the only man able to help him - is hurt in combat.Meanwhile, Marina is approached by Phillippe, who pretends to work for the DGSE but is actually a Mossad agent here to recruit her."

A senior officer of ISIS, Cochise, takes advantage of the video of Malotru to let the DGSE know that he wants to defect. Philippe "trains" Marina, whom he takes for a novice, and asks her to give a conference in Baku.

Malotru and the Russian mole, wanted by all the jihadists, fight for their survival. Duflot prepares to leave for the field to meet Cochise. Marie-Jeanne replaces Duflot as head of The Bureau.

The DGSE is in mourning and Marie-Jeanne is in charge of keeping the focus. The Head of the DGSE decides to launch an operation to free Malotru while exfiltrating Cochise. In Baku, Marina implants a cyber virus at the Institute of Seismology.

The Bureau does everything possible to find Malotru. Nadia and Prune are asked to help, but Malotru is extremely careful. In Baku, the wind turns for Marina: Philippe realizes that she is perhaps not as novice as she claims.

Marina is held captive by Philippe, and Mossad is prepared to get rid of her. In the meantime, the DGSE, with Marie-Jeanne more determined than ever, is getting ready to arrest Malotru during a secret meeting he has with Nadia.
