Investigating major companies like Total Energies and Nespresso, we find their carbon neutrality and net zero claims rely largely on dubious carbon offset schemes. Failed reforestation projects and unfulfilled local aid pledges, do not match the advertised sustainability benefits. This amounts more to greenwashing than meaningful emissions reductions or climate action.
