Dropping the Soap

The cast and crew of struggling soap opera Collided Lives start to panic when they find out that their executive producer Edgar Knockers is missing and is being replaced by the ruthless Olivia Vanderstein (Jane Lynch).

New executive producer Olivia Vanderstein announces drastic budget cuts and starts firing employees. Longtime Collided Lives star Julian Draker decides to put in a good word for his on-screen wife Shea, while bad mouthing his arch nemesis Kit in the hopes of getting her fired from the show.

Julian is about to shoot a commercial for his new fragrance Man Musk when Kit barges in the studio claiming Olivia wants her to be in the promo as well.

To boost the ratings Olivia adds a new actor to the cast of Collided Lives, the Iraqi Juilliard graduate Raheem.

Shea is desperately trying to keep her role on Collided Lives, but Olivia won't budge.

Just as Julian announces his engagement to Shea, he faces a ghost from the past.

Julian and Kit are attending the first edition of Drama-Con, where Julian meets his soap opera rival Lance Dudiford.

After being kidnapped at Drama-Con, Kit is immediately replaced by the gorgeous Elena Dupree. Peter surprises Julian with a visit to his dressing room.

Julian's soap opera rival Lance Dudiford lands a role in Collided Lives. Peter and Julian share an intimate moment outside the studio building.

During a live TV interview, Julian decides to come out as gay, much to the surprise of his co-stars.
