Birth of the Beauty

Sara, a woman so beautiful everyone falls in love with her at first site, finds herself entranced by the story of Geum-ran on a full-body makeover show. Disappointed that Geum-ran failed in the final round, Sara calls the TV station and asks them to change the winner to Geum-ran. However, she is told that Geum-ran chose to step down from the show...

Sara is shocked when she sees Kang-joon and Chae-yeon's marriage announcement press conference, and in Tae-hee's study, she finds a photo of Tae-hee and Chae-yeon together. Joining forces to stop Kang-joon and Chae-yeon's marriage, Sara and Tae-hee disguise themselves as an attendee and waiter to infiltrate the HBS grand opening VIP charity event...

Chae-yeon meets Sara and tells her that Geum-ran committed suicide, that Kang-joon left his devoted wife Geum-ran for her, and that Sara means nothing to Kang-joon, but Sara doesn't react to Chae-yeon's bold claims. Then while on a drive with Kang-joon as part of her plan to seduce him, she has a flashback to her accident...

Tae-hee pleads with Sara, who suspects her fatal accident was due to foul play, to let it go and forgo the agony of knowing, but Sara can't turn a blind eye to such an injustice. Seeing Sara seeking out the truth of her past, Tae-hee passes out due to a traumatic memory from his youth.

Tae-hee tries to persuade Chae-yeon to postpone her wedding to Kang-joon, but feels helpless to stop her as she professes her love for Kang-joon. Meanwhile, having gotten by mostly on her looks, Sara decides to rely on other means to get revenge when things don't go as planned.

When Sara runs into Chae-yeon and tells her she'll make her divorce Kang-joon, Chae-yeon is shocked and tells Kang-joon about it, but he is indifferent.

Sara is furious to find out that Kang-joon married Geum-ran to get his hands on her land and sneaks into his family's home with Tae-hee to turn it into shambles. Meanwhile, Min-hyuk orders Kang-joon to uncover misconduct within Winner Group and schemes to place the suspicion on Madam Park.

Sara and Tae-hee begin to compliment each other and get closer. Meanwhile, Chae-yeon confesses to Ji-hoon that Kang-joon had a wife, who may have been Geum-ran, and vows to get at the truth.

With Tae-hee's help, Sara gets a new identity and appears on a HBS show. Chae-yeon vows to get revenge on Sara after all the attention Sara gets from everyone on the show's set.

Sara wants Tae-hee to like her as her new self, but Sara is offended that he's upset at her for being like a middled-age lady. This puts their relationship on the rocks. Meanwhile, Chae-yeon confirms whether Tae-hee is the heir apparent to Winner Group.

Sun-dong tells Chae-yeon to hand over the building, but Chae-yeon steals Kang-joon's certified seal to change a temporary building lien into a permanent one. Meanwhile, Tae-hee takes up the role of manager to protect Sara.

Upon finding a listening bug in her room, Chae-yeon brings it to Kang-joon's attention, asking him to tell her about Tae-hee's business situation and Geum-ran's weakness. Meanwhile, Sara tells Tae-hee she's uncomfortable about getting too close with him and wants to keep him at a distance.

Kang-joon confronts Sara, who faints from an allergic reaction to peanuts. Meanwhile, Tae-hee gets a bad feeling when Sara doesn't answer his calls. When Kang-joon has a closer look at Sara, he worries there might be a connection to Geum-ran.

Chae-yeon surprises Sara by revealing that Tae-hee is the heir apparent to Winner Group, telling her to give up on him. Tae-hee tries to convince Sara, who knows his true identity, that nothing has changed, but she is apprehensive.

Tae-hee urges Sara to rush their marriage as he can't stand her being on edge due to Kang-joon. Kang-joon reminds Sara that she is still his lawful wife and he will not stand by and allow her to marry Tae-hee, raising Sara's anxiety level.

Tae-hee regains consciousness and begins to recover with Sara's nursing. Min-hyuk tells the press that he vows to catch the culprit that attacked Tae-hee in order to deflect suspicion away from himself.

Chae-yeon blackmails Kang-joon into transferring the title of the building to her by revealing she has dashcam footage of his crime. Through Team Leader Choi, Tae-hee provides material proof at the HBS emergency board meeting that Kang-joon defamed Madam Park. As a result, Kang-joon gets a 3-month suspension.

Tae-hee is upset at Sara being chosen to be the new spokesmodel and confronts her as to the reason why she has to partner with Han Minhyuk. Meanwhile, Minhyuk falsely lays the blame on Kang-joon for Tae-hee's serious injury to deceive Sara and tells her to distance herself from both of them.

"Min-hyuk tells Sara, who finds out that he was the real culprit in Tae-hee's assault, to end her relationship with Tae-hee once and for all and not agitate him further. When Sara learns of Min-hyuk's under-handed intentions, she decides not to create more misunderstandings and tells Tae-hee to forget she ever existed."

After Tae-hee learns from Sara that Min-hyuk was behind his assault, he sets out to further investigate the facts. To protect Tae-hee, Sara decides to come forward about her past ordeal and current secret to the public. Meanwhile, Min-hyuk promises Sara that he will get Kang-joon off her case if she leaves Tae-hee for him.

After Sara's revelation, Chae-yeon is forced to step down as host of her TV show, falling into despair. Meanwhile, Kang-joon offers to divorce Sara if Tae-hee would get him a fake passport, but a meeting is arranged to lure Tae-hee into a trap.
