On a final job gone wrong, triad member Ho is ambushed by the police. He surrenders out of love for his cadet brother Kit, who blames him for the family tragedy that ensues. Reformed after three years in prison, Ho tries to reconcile with a resentful Kit, but his criminal past refuses to let him go.
