Hakaba Kitaro

An inpatient becomes a ghost at a certain hospital. Mizuki, who is an office worker, is commissioned to find out what the cause of this incident. Through the investigations, he comes across a married couple called “the last living members of the Ghost tribe”. In addition, the woman of the ghost tribe is pregnant while dying.

The grave of Yasha who has been in a long sleep is uncovered. At the same time, Vampire Dracula arrives in Japan. Yasha and Dracula get to scramble for one prey! That prey is turned out to be the president of a company who asked Mizuki to investigate the cause of the ghost inpatient. Due to the disappearance of Mizuki, the president is brought to the brink of bankruptcy.

The seed is to turn a human into a tree, which Rat Man plans to make money with. Frightened, Shigei gradually gets to become a tree…

Neko is a girl whom Kitaro has feelings for. A suspicious shadow creeps up on Kitaro, as someone tries to trap him. Meanwhile, Kitaro is committed to realize Neko’s dream which is to be a singer. With the support of Trunk Shigei, Neko quickly vaults to stardom. However, someone releases brown rats on her stage.

Kitaro’s first love, Neko, is dead. Devastated, Kitaro thinks of going to hell to see Neko, but someone steals his magical Chanchanko, a padded, sleeveless kimono vest. It is the work of the fake Kitaro after all. Wearing this Chanchanko, the fake Kitaro wanders around the hell and conspires to wangle huge money with Rat Man.
