Daniel Barenboim conducts the Berliner Philharmoniker in the 2014 edition of the Europakonzert in Berlin. The program opens with Otto Nicolai’s Overture to Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor (The Merry Wives of Windsor), followed by Edward Elgar’s Falstaff in C minor, Op. 68. The program ends with Piotr Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 in E Minor, Op. 64.
