Till We Meet Again

The story begins in Dijon in 1913. Eve, the daughter of a respected doctor, is expected to marry Roger Grillont, but her heart leads her instead to Alain Marais, a struggling theater performer from a humble background.

In 1940, Freddy serves as an Air Transport Auxiliary pilot in England, where she befriends Jane Longbridge and soon marries Jane’s brother Tony, later becoming pregnant. Years later, in 1952, Tony dies of a heart attack, and at his funeral Bruno appears, exposing himself as Edward’s father’s killer. Bruno’s scheme to seize the chateau then forces Eve, Freddy, and Delphine from their home.
