As the Great War begins, Australian Billy Kelly is signed on and shipped out to serve in Europe. Billy, being a known marksman, is singled out to head up a highly successful sniper team. But while the reports of Billy's wartime heroism begin to turn him into a celebrated war hero, the livelihood of his family is threatened back home.
