Ladies Versus Butlers

A suspicious-looking boy, Akiharu Hino, has transferred to Hakureiryo Academy, a boarding school once known for educating only high-class young ladies. However upon his arrival, he encounters Selenia Iori Flameheart, who accuses him of being a delinquent. He also encounters a duplicitous childhood friend, who knows and says too much.

Akiharu has a hard time on his first day training to become a butler, getting to know the other servants and upper classmates--and their eccentric personalities.

For today's practical exam to prove one's faithfulness, Tomomi has Akiharu accept her partnership and gives him an unusual task--to follow Mimina Osawa, a student artist who has been hospitalized most of her life.

Akiharu accidentally sees Ayse Khadim's naked skin! Due to her family's customs, Akiharu is forced to become engaged to her--unless either Selenia or Tomomi can do something about it.

Selenia and Tomomi remark on their days since their first meeting at Hakureiryo Academy, where they eventually become rivals to see who's the more diligent and accomplished lady. Meanwhile, the Academy's water system goes out-of-order, and the school has to use an indoor natural hot spring for the time being--and the servants and uppers are getting a little too cozy.

Akiharu's roommate, Kaoru Daichi, has an uncomfortable time establishing a rapport with Akiharu. Kaoru is, in reality, a cross-dressing girl acquiescing to her father's strict desires. In a few days, she will have a chance to be a girl for one day at an upcoming ball for cross-dressing students.

Pina Sformklan Estoh, an anime otaku princess, makes her move, much to Principal Kaede Tenjoji's enthusiasm. Akiharu and Tomomi are to assist Pina in creating a fabulous literary piece of her own.

Selenia finally gets her chance to have Akiharu accept her partnership for the next practical exam; only this time, she drags him to a vacation household of hers, where the maids stir up Selenia's relationship with Akiharu, apparently leading to a "summer of love."

After witnessing Selenia kissing Akiharu, Tomomi's feelings for Akiharu reach breaking point. Tomomi invites Akiharu to take her on a date, while Selenia spies on them. By the end of the day, Tomomi and Akiharu talk about their childhood conflicts.

Kaoru discovers a love letter for her and is now in a predicament, whether to confess her true feelings or expose her true gender. So Akiharu and the boys try to give her their own excellent advice. 

Having another usual day of butler duties, Pina gives Akiharu tickets to a special waterpark as a gift. Tomomi and Selenia confront each other about their affection for Akiharu. Principal Kaede announces the annual sports day, so the girls use it as an opportunity to decide who goes with Akiharu to the waterpark.

Akiharu receives a special gift--with strings attached.
