Adventures in Duckport

When Ms. O'Plume suggests a "Helping Out Day" her class is eager to get involved. Jack decides to tidy up the garden of a house in the neighbourhood. It's like a junk-yard! But what happens when the owner, Norman Snorwood, is a junk dealer?

Gramma Gussie organizes a bake-off. The youngsters get baking, and all make different things! Suzy's plum pie looks magnificent, but gets lost on the way to judging. Will her pie turn up in time?

Everyone is getting very excited about the Harvest Festival, but the venue is on the opposite side of the river and Boris is needed to transport the children and the ferry across! What happens when he is too ill to do any ferrying?

It's Lizzie's birthday and Lester is worried because a present he ordered for his wife has not been delivered. Suzy takes it upon herself to find out what has happened.

When Ms. O'Plume shows her class prehistoric fossils, the children decide to go on a fossil hunt. Penelope, Emily, and Ollie make their own fossils, which almost fool the others. Boris is on hand to sort the fake fossils from real ones.

Jack and Suzy decide to make a kite! It almost sails away with Jack on the end of the string, nut it comes in handy when Ms. O'Plume loses her handbag down a well.

When the children arrive at Boris' landing stage for their trip to school, Boris isn't there because he overslept! Jack borrows his father's alarm clock so this won't happen again, but returns it when Pop oversleeps the next day.
