Things are rough for Kim Soo Jin. She's an award-winning movie producer who's company is bankrupt and her rival is stealing clients. She finds herself stuck adapting her ex-boyfriend's webtoon where she appears as a character!

The exes show up to confront Myung Soo about their depictions. Each tries to cut a deal with Soo Jin, and she learns that her "relationship" with Myung Soo was not exactly what she thought.

The exes give their permission to write the movie, but they each have a particular set of revisions. An attempt to distract them turns violent

Hwa Young fires Soo Jin and Myung without telling her chief director, who also happens to be her fiance. When a famous director shows up, they all have to jump through hoops to save their relationships and their jobs.

Soo Jin and Myung Soo are forced to pretend to be a couple for the project to move forward, but on a bonding retreat, romantic feelings surface.

When Director Jo threatens to completely change the story or he'll cancel the project, the exes use their skills of seduction to swing him their way. But he might have his eyes on Soo Jin.

After the trap the exes set for Director Jo fails, Myung Soo agrees to leave the project and heads out on his own.

Myung Soo returns with a confession of love for Soo Jin, but the exes decide to interfere.

Myung Soo, Soo Jin, and the exes get roped into Hwa Young's wedding photos, but Myung Soo ends up revealing a secret.

Myung Soo's remark causes Hwa Young to lose her job and fiance and Soo Jin to lose her movie. The exes team up to win it all back, but an alliance leads to jealousy.

When Director Jo moves into Soo Jin's office, Myung Soo gets jealous and sends the exes to "help" with casting.
