12 families enter the kitchen for the first time to find out there is only place for half of them in the competition. In the first stage of the auditions, 6 of the 12 teams face 2 challenges to win a spot in the game, showing the best of their culinary skills. After a signature menu and the responsibility of reproducing the dish of one of the judges, only 3 families qualify.

In the second round of the auditions, the six families who did not cook in the previous episode battle for the last three spots in the competition. To prove they deserve a spot in the game, they must prepare a feast featuring the best of their culinary traditions and afterwards, prepare the favorite dish of a very special guest.

With six qualified families, the competition officially starts. To begin the show, the teams are challenged to prepare a meal for a famous TV host. Then, the first game changer of the season is a competition with one of Brazil’s culinary classics: coxinha.

Our kitchen becomes the set for a very popular tradition on weekends with the family: the barbecue. In addition, after a true feast, the fridge is always full. At this point, the contestants are challenged to create new and delicious dishes, giving different flavor and appearance to the leftovers stored in the refrigerator. The family with the worst results is sent back home.

When a country music duo gets to the kitchen, the families must prepare a meal inspired by the culinary traditions of the countryside. In the elimination challenge, the participants face an extra obstacle: splitting into duos and taking turns to reproduce a lemon pie exactly like the original one.

Joint food is the theme of the first challenge that brings to the kitchen guests who are both, special and demanding. In the elimination round, the families go shopping to prepare a typical Sunday lunch. Whoever has the worst performance is sent back home and only three teams remain in the competition.

The three eliminated families have a new chance and battle to make their way back to the show. Throughout two challenges, their culinary skills are put to test both, with unusual dishes and a Brazilian classic, since the teams need to show talent and versatility in order to prove they deserve this unique opportunity.

After the repechage, four families compete in the first challenge, reproducing dishes made by the judges. The winning teams qualify to the semifinal and do not have to participate of the second round, which welcomes guests for a nicely made afternoon snack. Those who are most voted by the guests remain in the competition, while the least voted family is sent back home.

The first challenge of the three families is to prepare a complete meal according to the dietary restrictions of our guest of honor. The team she chooses as her favorite qualifies for the grand finale, while the other two must use all their creativity in the second challenge, with the last spot in the finale at stake.

The finalists face each other in the last two challenges of the season. The competition starts with the reproduction of a dessert prepared by one of the judges, worth a huge advantage in the following challenge. The 2nd challenge is to prepare a traditional Christmas feast for very special guests. Then, at the most expected and thrilling moment of the show, the winning family is finally revealed.
