American River Renegades

A late spring means disaster for those who make their living on America’s rivers. Two men on the Mississippi Delta risk sinking into the swamp, and an Alaskan chief battles his way over narrow mountain passes in search of food.

In the Mississippi Delta, Kip and Big Ward wrestle with a giant alligator snapping turtle. In South Carolina, Ricky is on the trail of dangerous feral hogs, while up in Alaska, village chief PJ is on a "suicide run" after salmon.

In South Carolina, Ricky loses a vital piece of equipment in the Pee Dee River. Kip and Big Ward find themselves stuck in a remote part of the Mississippi Delta, and in Wisconsin, a swollen Mississippi leaves Mike unable to fish.

In Alaska, PJ and Doug are surrounded by grizzlies during a salmon run. On the Mississippi, Kip and Ward's airboat breaks down during a gator hunt, and Mike starts snapping-turtle season alone when his partner injures himself.

PJ competes against hungry predators for moose. Ricky and his son struggle to float a tractor across the Pee Dee River, and Kip has to leave Big Ward behind when their boat breaks down in the middle of the Mississippi Delta.

Ricky and his son track a feral hog that has left a trail of destruction behind it. PJ races against the approaching winter to make one final salmon catch, and Kip and Big Ward are forced to hunt for swamp alligators on foot.
