In 1985, Richard Ramirez terrorized California. Due to his nature of targeting people at night, he quickly became known as the Night Stalker. Two Los Angeles police detectives-Sergeant Frank Salerno and Lieutenant Gil Carrillo-attempt to track him down, but are faced with little concrete evidence and a series of seemingly-unrelated incidents.
