A young reporter named Jin Maddison travels to the remote town of Selah, where many modern Christmas traditions supposedly originated. But Selah is also the place where another reporter mysteriously died while researching the same story, and when she meets a detective investigating child disappearances Jin realizes that Selah is hiding secrets far more terrifying than she ever could have imagined.
