Nandhakumar (Mammootty) is forced to marry Shruthi (Annie) after Uma (Shobana), his handicapped ex-love persuades him to leave her and lead a normal life with Shruthi. Later, Shruthi confesses that Uma made the sacrifice because Shruthi accused her of being selfish. Nandhakumar leaves home after realizing the betrayal.
