Officer Mandy Curfiss encounters a gang of youths beating a man in the middle of the street and gets drawn into a foot chase. Then, Officer Rose Valentino witnesses in an innocent bystander getting shot in front of her patrol car.

Rose answers an automotive break-in call and finds a man slumped inside the car. Later, Mandy intervenes in an altercation where a mom is irate that her teenager is pregnant, and Tia must pull her gun at suspicious traffic stop.

Mandy rushes to a possible DUI accident where officers tase the suspected drunk driver. Then, Colleen has to draw her weapon in the course of taking down a prostitution and drug haven.

Mandy helps a single mother after her ex-boyfriend allegedly shows up to her apartment with a gun, and Tia tries to console a sobbing teen that alleges her foster mother beat her and threw her out of the house.

Colleen provides armed cover for US Marshals as they stand off against a man wanted for felony drug trafficking and kidnapping charges. Later, Tia races to the scene when a woman is allegedly stabbed in the neck.

Colleen busts a 19-year-old girl on charges of soliciting during an elaborate prostitution sting. Later, Tia must console a bereaved granddaughter when an elderly man is found dead in his apartment.

Mandy finds a heroin addict out on the town in his mother's stolen car. Then, Colleen's patience is tested when a suspected hooker denies wrongdoing, and Rose answers the call of a fast food patron threatening bodily harm.

Colleen uses a confidential informant to buy crack, but things take a turn for the unexpected. After being promoted to sergeant, Tia races to the scene of an accused murderer who is barricaded in his girlfriend's apartment.
