Coming home for Christmas from his final deployment, Sgt. Major John Frost finds his family have adopted a new dog called Charlie. John struggles to fit back into civilian life, but soon finds friendship with fellow veterans at a local lodge and, with the help of Charlie, rallies friends and family to bring the spirit of Christmas to those who need it the most.
