Nelson discovers the harsh reality of interspecies dating after falling in love with a chicken. Contemptuous pigeon Kali implicates DJ Toby Anstis in one of her evil schemes, and Destiny bites her owner so she can attend dog obedience classes and get closer to Rivers, the rule-breaking rebel dog she met outside the adult education center.

When Vince has a litter of fox cubs and eats them all except the runt, Nelson is thrilled to become an uncle. Destiny is disappointed to discover the identity of her potential soul-mate, while Kali is reunited with an old partner-in-crime.

Destiny thinks that guiding is fun and Marion falls for the attractive but underage Lollipop. When Nelson hears that Destiny loves Springwatch he discovers that the animals are actors and decides to audition, while Kali reveals that she used to nest in Amy Winehouse's hair.

Nelson realizes that he's the only one in the gang who has never been stroked by a human. He visits a petting zoo, where he quickly discovers that getting a stroke isn't always a pleasant experience. Marion courageously saves a child from drowning, but Destiny dupes him out of his chance to win an Animal of Courage award by taking all the credit for his bravery.

Urban fox Nelson's effete French pen friend Christian arrives for a visit, and starts behaving uncharacteristically badly - exhibiting mood swings and frothing at the mouth. Yes, it seems Christian has rabies. When pigeon Kali is caught up in a nasty pigeon cull, she resolves to take over the world and take revenge on humankind by creating the pigeox - half pigeon, half fox.

Urban fox Nelson goes to the garbage dump to save his tomcat friend Marion and falls for disgusting vixen Sandra. Afghan hound Destiny persuades her owner Gary to enter her into the local dog show, at last.

With his nasty neighbor Vince in a coma, Nelson must look after his territory for him. It's time for Nelson to invoke middle-class techniques to keep the dangerous occupants under control. Just as she gets fed up with her latest controlling boyfriend, fate gives Destiny the chance to date her dream partner.

It's bonfire night and Marion falls in with the wrong crowd of animals. They are determined to stop humans from celebrating the 5th November forever by blowing up the pub. While walking in the park, Destiny is chosen to become a photographer's model. The trouble is that the photographer's idea of glamour is quite different to Destiny's.
