The One Day Mission hits the contestants as they compete to rise to the top. CEO Yang's tour continues, but few things can get past his harsh demeanor. Featuring BIGBANG's Seungri and Taeyang as guest judges.

The 170 contestants prepare for their first big show, performing "Just Dance" produced by Teddy, and must compete with each other. Both the judges and the audience will decide their rankings in the end, but who will claim the seats at the top?

The trainees split into smaller teams to put on performances for the Position Battle, set apart by gender. Fan-favorite Shin Ryu Jin leads her team Benefit performing BLACKPINK's "Boombayah," against Kim Byung Kwan's Psychopass performing Block B's "Very Good" in an intense dance battle.

The Position Battle quickens and more and more teams compete against each other to hit songs like Taeyeon's "Rain" and DBSK's "Love In The Ice." The points for the boys and the girls get higher as the competition flares.

Emotions soar as Position Battle comes to a close, and with it, the first disqualification round of the show. 170 contestants are cut down to just 99, with many close calls and surprising results.

After an enthralling battle of the sexes, the Formation Battle begins. Five new girl groups battle it out to stay in the competition.

With the girls' side of the Formation Battle and their ranking coming to a close, the boys take the spotlight and storm the stage with songs such as BIGBANG's "Bang Bang Bang," DBSK's "Hug," and even GAIN's "Paradise Lost."

The trainees rush into their next challenge: the Song Battle. However, the remaining 99 face another rank announcement and disqualification, leaving the best 27 of each gender able to move on.

With the sting of the recent disqualifications still too strong, the Song Battle truly begins. The girls go at it first, performing "Hush," "Dangerous Girl," and Like a Star," original songs made for the trainees.

Following the girls in the previous episode, the boys work toward their performances in the Song Battle. Their songs are "Hand in Hand," "Super Freak," and "Stand by Me," original songs made for the trainees.

The trainees go through another ranking ceremony, one that sees startling eliminations and surprising entries into the Debut Group. The boys and the girls then get two new songs each for their final performance and competition: "What!?" and "I Like It Too" for the boys, and "OMG" and "Come to Play" for the girls.

MIXNINE's finals arrive, pitting the boys and the girls against each other one last time. Ultimately only the top nine of either the boys or the girls can win. Will they realize their earnest dreams and debut?
