Alan Davies stars as Roland White, the talented executive chef of a country hotel who hasn’t quite been able to maintain his sparkle. Most of the time, he leaves the kitchen to his long-suffering sous-chef, Bib. They both enjoy a battle of wills with the owner, Caroline, who puts business before genius.
